Either way sounds like the hood was swapped but even DSG doesn’t always match. Paint shop we use at work said they have 5 mixes for DSG variations they’ve seen, they want you to bring.l the gas door to match it. My 03 Mach and 04 lightning were both DSG and yet not quite the same color

Taking a closer look you can actually tell it's just some grille in the bottom of his bumper but from a distance it totally looks like a heat exchanger.
