Picked up another gem this weekend. Found a 1-owner 1987 LT250 Suzuki Quadracer.

I, admittedly, have an addiction. This makes 5 of these machines I now own. 4 250's, and 1 500. These, along with a Honda trx250r, a MINT 1997 Cr250 (@Smooth), a yz250, a kx110, etc etc etc. I need help.

This particular '87 was completely original from the handlebar pad down to all 4 tires. Pretty crazy. Although, sadly, owner couldn't find the headlight at the time I picked her up. Hopefully he comes across it and ships it to me later.

I get some pics up of the other bikes too....

Any other old school two stroke fans, post them up!

Hell ya. I only had bikes.

Nastiest was a Husky 250. Early 90s or late 80s. Can’t recall.

Was the Husky left kick? Maybe that was ATK... I had a buddy with one growing up that was a leg breaker.

I was established in 1992 ya dinosaur

;)

Title is 80's or 90's so you qualify, youngun.

I dont anything changed on them but the colors from 88 - 00

KX110 that we picked up for $400 knowing it "needed a piston". Brought her home, pulled top end, and ends up the rod bearing was seized to the crank.

Had to split cases and rebuild entire motor. Full rebuild kit (crank, piston, all bearings, seals, gaskets) was only $500 surprisingly, so now into this one for about $900.

She rips pretty good now!

Couple pics of the LT500 "Quadzilla". Oversized piston has this one belting out 535cc of 2 stroke power. I had a custom hand-made coned pipe made for it.

Also recently added electric start which is a fookin GAME CHANGER on this particular machine.

Nice find! Love the old two strokes! My 88 250R that was set up for hill climbing. Growing up I had a MX80, KDX 80, KX80 big wheel, YZ80, DT250D, KX125. Most recent addiction is this 1986 X2 jet ski. It is a 650 two cylinder two stoke, big pipe, carb, stainless 8/16 impeller, fun little toy! As I get older it hurts a lot less falling on water!

In 5th grade I got a 1986 Honda ATC 110 and had a 1990 KX80.

I want another two stroke so bad but the prices they're fetching is just ridiculous. Banshee's, 250r's, quadzillas and pretty much anything else is just out of reach.

Keep your eyes peeled my man. They're out there.. just gotta be ready to go when you see one that fits the price range.

The 86 250r is next on deck for a back to stock restore.

That RD400 is the cat's ass. I'd love to have one of those.

How much for the ATC250r? :p

Gramps picked up the RD new in 76! Fun bike for sure. Also have a 74 RD200 which has less than 2500 miles one it. Just fun to zip around in. The ATC was the father in laws, he passed in 2010. Its only been out a few times since then. It's sticking around here for good. Some of us need to keep the 2-strokes going!
