I meant a different face, I didn’t even notice I put sad to be honest. I had to look back to what you were talking about. Sorry about that haha. Never seen a paint scheme like that on a cobra before.
It's all good brother. I was just curious. Some guys don't like the paint job. Some guys don't like the hood and others don't like the wheels and others don't like any of it LMAO!!!

So, I was just wondering. I'm cool if guys don't like something. I've heard all kinds of comments before.

Appreciate your response brother!

I love the wheels. They look like Roush wheels.

Very good eye. They are Roush wheels. Before I purchased my Cobra I had my Roush. I really liked the Roush styling and tried to add some of it to my Cobra. So, I bought a set of Roush wheels and put them on my Cobra.

I had the Roush wing on my Cobra for a while, but it really took away from the design of the Cobra. So, I put the original Cobra spoiler back on.

I'm considering going back to the Cobra hood, but they are hard to find now and expensive. So, maybe one day.

Appreciate the comment my friend!

I have always loved those style Roush wheels. I'm sure those are extremely hard to find now.

Good call on the Cobra wing.

Of course sir, awesome twist rather than the usual stuff for a cobra. Everyone’s got an opinion, to each their own. Only time I get sad is when I see someone cutting up a car, or just trashing it. However once again, their car their money.

I am going to get rid of my factory hood for a carbon replacement if you are okay with painting one as this one is black and had some issues from being on a driven car. But I am up in northern AZ.

Now that's a paint scheme that definitely rubs against the usual grain. Why does Advance Auto Parts keep popping into my brain when I see the photo? As long as Glenn is happy, that's all that matters. Any changes to the interior? What color was the Cobra originally?

If you still have the '03 Cobra convertible and the Roush, could you post a couple of pics? Thanks Glenn.

Lol, thanks Bob! Yeah and against the grain normally means not liked lmao! I took a bunch of heat from the Cobra guys.

Most people think of the pokemon ball Bob lol.

The car was orginally Satin Silver. No major changes to the interior. But I did change the shifter handle, added some Nitrous switches in the cup holder and a couple of billet aluminum pieces.

I do still have the Vert and Roush. Not sure if I have any pictures of all 3 of them together. I normally keep them on the side of my house, under a carport and covered.

However, I'll look and if I find any I'll post up Bob.

Drove it to church this morning. It sprinkled so I couldn’t drive it hard. Weather cleared up on the drive home from church and I had a good 3rd to 4th gear pull. I wasn’t paying super close attention to the boost guage (aftermarket) but I feel I only say like 16-18 lbs up top. I’m thinking my belt is slipping slightly. I don’t see much belt material on the pulley but I do see some accumulating on the hood. Guess I’ll do a new belt before my dyno session. Weather was perfect too. Brand new stock tensioner.

If you do another belt I'd suggest a normal type replacement. The green belts are made to last 100k miles in big rigs. So they're stiffer and don't grip as well.

I'm running a basic Gates on my Whipple and it doesn't slip at all at 20ish psi. I had planned on going with an RPM belt when I figured out the right size, but I haven't had any issues yet. So I'm not messing with it.

I do have a green belt on my diesel so I'm not totally against them.

After 4.5 months my box of kooks replacement finally came in. Engine mounts should be here tomorrow. Head cooling mod on Wednesday. Gonna have a busy Saturday.

Yours Saturday sounds like my whole winter project. I go slow and take my time….headers, engine mounts, IRS bushings, polishing tailpipes, fix fuel tank.
