I've been having a blast with my '01 Cobra at the track but I am getting a little concerned about oil temps. First question is: should I be? Or is the stock setup ok for stock(ish) power?
And then if I should be, what can I do about it? I thought dropping to a lower thermostat like the Reische 170 might also help with oil temps, given the heat exchanger, but I'm guessing that would be marginal. The only thing I've seen online is the special order kit on roadrace1.com for $900 but I've seen no evidence of anyone actually using it.
