On a side note it almost seems like manufactures are rushing production and QC. I have no proof but we have seen a few cars new off the truck with minor issues etc. I live furthest from the dealership and was asked yesterday to drive a brand new not PDI'd car home to make sure it didn't have any issues running. The reason? We had to put an engine in it, it had 2 miles. When it was driven to the PDI shop engine was knocking, no oil reaching the top end of the engine.

Some.

80-90% of my incoming inventory is sold.
Now when the customers pick them up,.....will they have all functions such as, heated steering wheel, heated seats and so on, if so equipped?
I know that Chevrolet is shipping trucks out without those functions and installing the chips/parts when they get them.

Ford only has a handful of options/features that are being shipped inop.

1) 20%-30% more than MRSP is not unreasonable? Seriously bro?

2) uh, I just lived through the biggest disaster the world has seen in my lifetime. Does this not fit your definition?

Also cars not being important -LOL- ok. The only reason this gouging is happening is because of dumbass reasoning like this and people too stupid falling for this garbage.

1) no? I say this because if you paid it, and could live without it, it's not unreasonable.

2) covid wasn't a disaster as defined. It's a pandemic. The laws reference natural disasters.

3) learn to ****ing read. I said new cars. No one needs a new car. Most can live with what they have. Or buy used. People buy a new car as a desire, not a need. No where is a brand new f350 a necessity.

Don’t worry. Prices will come down when the market takes a shit and people can’t afford to pay the mortgage let alone buy a new car with a 96month loan at 15% interest.

Give it time. Prices will return to normal eventually.

1)So if I paid $50 for a bottle of water because I needed it that’s not unreasonable?

2) China Flu is a natural disaster. Man made or not. Millions of people have died because of this, suicide, drug overdose, hospital malpractice, etc. Please remove head from butthole with your comments.

3) So if I own a hot shot company and I need new F350s for my fleet to stay in business this isn’t a necessity? Just because you drive a Mazda 3 to work at chucky cheese every day doesn’t mean people don’t use vehicles as tools to make a living. Again, please remove head from ass before you post.

What's wrong with your current F-350's that they need to be replaced when vehicles are the most expensive point in modern history rather than waiting a year or so when things start to get back to normal?

1) a bottle of water is a necessity. And $50 for one is a 2500% increase. If a bottle of water was suddenly 20-30% more expensive it would be 2.40-2.60 a bottle and still reasonable.

2) it's a pandemic. Not a disaster. Regardless of your cockamamie idea.

3) you're talking .05 percent of all people. Please stop trying to back up your ****ing stupid idea using lame generalized statements instead of actual facts.

I don't drive a Mazda 3. I drive a 30 year old diesel Land cruiser to my job where I test and build commercial and military aircraft. But keep trying to insult me. You're only showing your colors.

This. Stop buying at inflated prices and watch the stealerships start begging people to buy what starts piling up on their lots.

I don't care what you call this but this shit was an F N DISASTER in every way.

I’m an outlier on this bell curve, but I’ve spent thousands in maintenance on my JKU the last couple months and she’s about had it (2010 with 170k miles). Now, i did not order the most practical truck(TRX…in October), but i am reallllly needing something to DD quickly that’s reliable. i would wait otherwise, just don’t have much choice at this point.

Seeing what some of these impatient folks are paying is almost painful to watch, for my wallet at least.

Starting to see more new Challengers showing up at dealer and then customer declines. Hard to say if that means much because they all seem to be snatched up by someone else.

Eventually the markets gonna equalize. Demand and price cannot keep going up. There ain’t that many people wanting to buy new shit when a recession hits… and you can’t just print to oblivion leave your interest rates at damn near 0% without consequences.

I got a feeling this one’s gonna hit HARD

Lotta conflicting signals. Our family biz is up to $23 an hour with full bennies and bonus. Still short 200 people. MN unemployment rate is 2.5%.
