Sad to say but it’s best just to stay away in these situations.

My ex wife and her mom are both dumb **** losers. Already been assaulted once when I was denied visitation. Cops gave her a misdemeanor assault level 3 and nothing came of it. Female sergeant that responded patted me on the back and said good thing you didn’t hit back, you’d be going to jail.

Whole system is crooked but I’m not losing my job or going to jail over it. Not going to pay a lawyer 30k for another court order that won’t be enforced anyways.

I still think they need to charge the shooter with being a little bitch.

I’ve been in several chest bumping altercations in my life, even some I knew would certainly end with me having my ass handed back to me. I never once ran inside to get a gun, the thought never even crossed my mind.

But then again, I’ve never been afraid of an ass whoopin either.

I see where you are coming from, but at someone else’s home is just not the right spot to do that, bro… That was a bad move. Especially with so much skin in the game and real tempers flaring.

You know it’s bad when a lawyer tells you “you won’t win”.

Human nature to keep trying but he literally told me this….you’ll spend 25-30k over a year or two. In and out of court. Get a new order….but they don’t follow the current one. All the lawyers are friends and you’ll bounce from one to another trying to “win”.

Watching a coworker go through this right now. On his second lawyer. 3 yrs and 30k+ spent. Baby mama is a bar tender, DWI during the battle. Nothing…..going back to court this week.

He won shared custody a year ago, she appealed it and got it over turned and he’s starting over with a new lawyer.

Hamster wheel…

Honestly the more I think about it, I was wrong…

I’d have been landing punches the second he chest bumped me like that. Right or wrong, that’s just me. I’m not going to stand there and argue if I’m that pissed off, and I’m damn sure not going to let him get the drop. He would have never had the chance to go grab a gun and I would have gladly gotten arrested after watching him get loaded into an ambulance. Bottom line is you don’t come between a man and his kids.

Yep, been there done that with my ex. Difference was she kept trying to win but never did.

Let a man do any of the things these women get away with and we’d be under the ****ing jail.

On my own property you get a free trip to the medical examiners office for a toe tag fitment!

Maybe, maybe not…

I’m almost certain had the dad gotten a good hit on the shooter he would have knocked his ass out cold.

I agree had the shooter been indicted it would have been very bad, however, the shooter was not in fear of his life, had he been in fear for his life he would have:

A. Retreated into the house and called the police.

B. Not have argued and instigated in the first place.

C. If he did grab a gun, he would have stayed inside and waited for the police. If the dad entered the house it would have obviously been self defense plain and simple.

D. Never gotten involved in shit he shouldn’t be involved in, in the first place.

Bottom line is shooter brought the gun out to intimidate the dad. Once that in itself didn’t work, he fired a warning shot to try and scare the dad away, which still didn’t work. Once he started getting man handled he was afraid that dad was going to take his gun (which he introduced into the situation) away from him and shoot him with it, making him afraid for his life. Kinda self inflicted huh.

And until you’ve had your kids taken away by an angry ex, while waiting for our bullshit justice systems wheels to turn, knowing nothing will change but the amount of your kids life you missed out on, and your bank account balance after paying lawyers…you have no ****ing clue.

That’s the closest I’ve ever been to committing homicide.

this is a tough case for me to decide on.

The guy was trespassing on his front lawn.

Prior to the gun showing up, i didn't hear or see any physical threats of violence.

So why go get the gun?

i agree that i dont feel bad for the guy unless he was set up somehow which he could have been (watch the video below which proves the mother/bf were willingly committing a felonly) and the bf committed a felonly w the warning shot.

I also would not feel bad if the homeowner was charged...this was completely avoidable...the analysis below completely wrecks the bf case imo

Exactly my point. If I were in that situation and truly in fear of my life, I would have gone inside and called the cops. IF he was truly scared for his life, he would have come back out ready to fire and done so at the first sight of him.

This dip shit has traditional short man syndrome and was afraid of losing a physical fight with him.

Again, dad wasn’t in the right either, but he shouldn’t have been killed over a dispute like this.

Youtube is not the law so your opinion doesn't hold a lot of weight (none of ours do).

No winners in this one, that's for sure.

You gotta be a dumb MF'er to advance multiple times on a guy with a loaded rifle. I understand the "I want my kids" stuff (I have plenty of them myself), but damn.

uh....you didn't actually address any of the arguments made...and you made a strawman.

I get it if you don't want to watch a video about it and all...but what a weird way to respond if that's what you meant.
