Long time members of SVTP undoubtedly remember and miss oldmodman (Drew). He was a great guy, and kept an immaculate Terminator. RIP friend.

What a gem. I remember hating on ZY and liking SY much more. That is a good looking terminator RIP Oldmodman.

Sid, how did you find out this was Drew's Cobra? I didn't see anything in the BAT listing that revealed a previous/original owner's name. I personally miss Drew. I was an awesome straight-up guy.

Bidding is at $35,250. with 5 days remaining. This one will climb pretty high.

I believe there is a thread on here that may have owners vin #’s or something like a registry

I was kind of assuming that was maybe how it was tracked to Drew.

High bid is at $42,000. with 4 days to go.

Yea a 1500 mile SB went for 61k I think on eBay and the MC for 81k with under 1k miles in the last couple months so I’d assume reserve was around 50k and seller was probably hoping for low to mid 50’s. They made a comment that it wasn’t close to reserve. I would say just about any color other then ZY would have been bid much higher with similar miles and condition ZY is a love it or hate it color and unfortunately most people hate it.

Surprised at the results as well. I am glad it didn't sell at $42K...that is a special car, and based on mileage and comps, should go for more.
Personally I've never minded the color, it's also more rare than Mystichrome.

How so? I'd say that IS the current value of a 400 mile ZY 03
Good question. I thought it would’ve trended for over 55k like the one owner low mile redfire on BAT. Maybe slotting under the low mile MCs around 60k was my guess. This ultra low mile mint terminator didn’t really do any favors IMO for the market other than show color is a significant factor.

Tough to say that IS what it’s worth when it didn’t even sell.

It didn't sell because the seller had higher expectations. Asking prices don't do much to value a car.
I could list my 98 for $50k, and if the bids only get to $15k then I'd say the value is closer to $15k than any asking value/reserve I have on the car.

My 2c which means nothing, $5xk for a 4xx mile 1000% stock cobra (key detail), regardless of color, seems normal by "todays" standards, and the area where they actually trade hands (vs an ask).

Its because its zinc yellow it didn't sell for an extreme amount of money. Zinc yellow, black, convertible cars, and cars with front plates holes drilled on them never do well. Even worse if its a combo of any of those.
I've never understood why the front plate devalues the car so much. The new owner could just repaint the bumper....no?
