if you like centerforce, this clutch might be good for you. Will hold more power than you plan on making too. PN: KDF214814 - Dual Friction , Clutch Kit | Fits Ford - Mustang - 1996-1998 - SVT Cobra - Naturally Aspirated - 4.6L - 281 Cid - V8 - DOHC - 32 Valve - GAS - FI - 5-Spd. - Car
Search around for a better deal cause I'm sure you can find one
Don't. It will do nothing but annoy you at idle especially if there is a curb next to you. All you'll be able to hear is the stupid weights chattering and after they wear they'll even start to sqeak a little. You'll find yourself holding the clutch in when you don't need to and you'll go through a throw out bearing before that clutch it done.
Been there done that and never again.
Really? I’ve used the CF DF clutch in 3 of my Foxbody cars around the 500-550hp range. I loved those clutches for that power level and never had a single issue with them. Now, I will say that I always had loud exhaust and usual LT headers (1 car had shorties). Maybe that’s why I never heard any chirping noises. Also maybe which trannys I used made a difference? (T-5 or TKO 600).
I was about to recommend this clutch to the OP, haha.
someone responded about hte ram clutches are they very good and which would be best for around 500hp at the rear wheels
