Its mental to me thinking about a 1300+ cc bike WITH a power adder.
It takes balls to twist the throttle WOT on one of those things.

If a person has their endorsement, it's worth it to keep it just in case.I have not ridden since my 20's (90's). However have renewed my license ever since, if I ever wanted to again, but its unlikely. Have too many cars.
My buddies bike when I went pick it up from the impound lot. He got brake checked, grabbed a handful of brakes, endo-flipped the bike into the car that checked him up on 45 North..

I developed a habit of looking at the rearview mirrors of vehicles I was coming up on. If I could see eyes in their rearview, I went around them around 10 mph faster than them. If it was a semitruck or I couldn't see eyes, I got around fast as I could. After high school I wanted to get a bike until my mother gave me a tour of her workplace. She was the director of nursing at a long term care facility in SE PA and she pointed to specific people as we walked around--all of whom had been in motorcycle accidents. It scared me straight. Nonetheless the past few years I've been itching to get a bike but I would never take it on the road with other vehicles. A closed track would be fun or, if maybe one day I move to a small town where the speed limit is 25 I might go on the road with it. Drivers here in Vegas are terrible.
Who did the flash? Love the Leo exhaust, one of my favorites for the R6. Had an 09 I ram as a track bike built to the hilt except for engine work. I was lucky to have a buddy in jersey that opened a shop and got the hook up on a lot of nice parts. Such a predictable and enjoyable bike.I just got into riding this year at 33yo. 2020 R6, already flashed the ECU and added header back exhaust at 60 miles on the bike lol.
I’ll continue to ride with full gear, and within my limits to reduce risk as much as I can.

I'd always be scanning at least 4-5 cars up ahead too.

my advice, suspension, the singular best thing I did was ohlins.
Hahaha I had a feeling it was Corbo. Great dude, he’s who I did my first track days with. Used to garage up with him and a bunch of other guys that became a regular crew at NJMP. I remember when he first started Bauce Racing here was one of the first iterations of my bike with basic bolt ons and his tune workBauce Racing
I have that same jacket.View attachment 1699489 I've got brand new Dainese leathers, boots, and a brand new helmet. Intended to get back into riding last year and just haven't...real shame.
