Did a research on Auschwitz and that was a truly depraved place. Coincidentally my wife and I were discussing this last week and i made the comment that we can’t give up ours guns or that’s our future.
stuff like this is why we need to continue to teach history and never forget or let this atrocity happen again
I finished watching the video that Brett posted. That was such a detailed, and horrific, account. Pisses me off that some, like Ilhan Omar, even question whether the horrors of the Holocaust is fictional/vastly exaggerated.
Its truly the best story ive ever seen Bob. Ive watched it at least 5 times to be honest.
The story that she tells about loosing her wooden slippers in the mud and how that would surely result in Death was a real eye opener to me on how fragile life was for ANYONE living there. U lose ur shoes and ur toes turn black and u die!
And then there was ur bowl. If u lost that or someone stole it u were Dead! Cause no one was gonna give u theirs and u needed that to not only eat from but also to piss and shit and I like how she described how the winter was better cause u could use snow to wash it out smfh. Mind boggling!
Well Bob, fortunately we have living survivors that can tell us the truth so we dont need scumbags like Omar telling us anything.

Crazy part is some people believe this never happened. Even crazier, more believe it could never happen again. Never give up your guns, your rights, ect. The far left is trying to convince you that a "virus" means giving everything up. Let this be a reminder.
I passed on visiting any concentration camps when I visited Germany. I know they exist. I know the horrors they've seen. I don't need to see it in person. I've already been to the killing fields in Cambodia It really ****s your day up to see such a place in person. Here's the "killing tree" as it's known in Phnom Penh. For small children, guards would grab both their legs, and swing them like a baseball bat, head first, into this tree. They later found tree, still embedded into the tree.
Holocaust deniers anger me more than just about any other creature. And I have no personal dog in the fight, other than having met a handful of tattooed survivors over the years, and having personally known a soldier who liberated one of the camps. He was a friend of my dad's, and our families were close. His was a story very much like the Why We Fight episode of Band of Brothers. I stumbled onto his memoirs in some of my folks' things, and lost myself in his recollection of what he saw, for the better part of an hour. I've seen a lot of documentary material about all of this, as we all have, and despite all that? He documented a particular horror that I've never seen detailed anywhere else. I think back on my dad telling me "He was right there, but he doesn't talk about it" and I understand.
In high school I had the opportunity to travel to Auschwitz through a school trip. We went in January to experience the cold, snowy conditions. A majority of the building walls were nothing more an a board thick, poorly constructed with a ton of gaps. I couldn't even imagine the bone chilling winters people had to endure there. They had a long sleeved jump suit, that was it.
We stood in the gas cambers, there were nail marks every where of people trying to claw their way out of concrete walls. There were certain parts we weren't allowed to take pictures, so I don't think I have those pictures. But looking at fingernail marks in concrete will forever be burned in my memory.
