Anyone gone from a Terminator to a GT350 and regretted it? Local dealer has 20 GT350. Have to sell my 03 Cobra convertible to get it. It has been my baby for 12 years now.

Sold my 04 'vert to get a '19 GT350, no regrets. The 350 is way more refined, attracts a lot of attention, is so much easier to drive and sounds amazing. Loved my terminator but it was time and now I'm the original owner of a Shelby which I expect to have until my kids get to fight over it.Anyone gone from a Terminator to a GT350 and regretted it? I’m in exactly the same boat. I’m selling a ‘13 GT500 and picking up a’19 GT350R. I will miss the earth-shattering torque, but not the Calistoga wagon ride.Really the only reason to hold onto the Terminator would be sentimental value. The 350 will be a better car all around. Prior to my 18R I had a modded 14gt500 w/ 760 RWHP, I dont miss that car at all having my 350R. The R is the 1st Shelby that I haven't felt the need to modify in any way, the car looks, sounds and performs amazing. The only complaint most guys who come from boosted cars have is that they feel the 350 lacks tq which I can see, but honestly every bit of the 350's power is useable as they grip and go and pull like freight trains after 4000 rpms.
Really the only reason to hold onto the 1969 Charger R/T 4spdwould be sentimental value. The Honda Odessey will be a better car all around. Blah blah blah.
I love all the guys who've never driven a GT350, let alone owned one who tend to chime in on these threads.
The bottom line is that the GT350 is like no other mustang ever before it....the exception MAYBE the late model Boss, which was leaning that direction.
One is a muscle car and the other is an all around sports car. The spiritual predecessor/comparison to the GT350 is probably the M3. So imagine a muscle-y version of the M3.
That's a BS. I can say getting hit by a bus would suck without ever having owned a bus nor been hit by one.
That's exactly my point. It's not a "better" driving experience or car, it's just newer and radically different.
Honestly, I'd rather have an E46 M3 now that I think about it. But for current cars I'd take a cheaper and more mod friendly Corvette or more exotic 911/Cayman over the GT350 if I wanted a pure sports car.

How can anyone but the OP make that call? Even someone that owned 15 Cobras and 20 GT350's couldn't tell him what he would like..Gotta love the expert that has never driven a 350 telling you why he wouldn't like the 350.
that motor is a turd, don't ****ing do it, because it WILL have issues
Or spend the same amount of $$$ on a sweet 911 Carrara 4S.That is another reason why NOT to get one. Save your money and get a GT500.
