It’s nice to see I am not alone in my thoughts about Ford. I suspect there will be more to follow if Ford stays on it’s current course.
Course!? All ahead flank with no one at the helm in an iceberg field.... They have managed to kill off (or unjustly tarnish) just about every pulse-raising car model with exception of the Mustang. Focus RS - dead, Fiesta ST - dead, Taurus SHO - dead, Fusion Sport - dead. Yep, I got it, Ford has to make money to survive, but did they have to take fun, place it in a burlap sack and beat it to death with the likes of Mustang Mach E, EcoSport? The one car I'm remotely interested in is the GT350R.

lol, pretty much.

I’ve been a ford guy forever and have only owned 2 non ford vehicles. Ford has done an excellent job at screwing up good things, this Bronco being one of them. The full size looks pretty decent but it will NEVER be a contender with the wrangler off-road because of the front axle, period.

It will if you want to pay big money, solid axles are not the top of the food chain in the rocks any more.

This is definitely for the girl who wants an Escape but goes to country jam once per year and the parking lot is dirt, so she tells the sales guy she needs something that can go "off-road".

Yeah but at least she’ll look good in it till she’s on the wrong side of 25.. ;)

Yeah for sure. My wife just got a 2018 explorer certified. Nice car, but the damn exhaust smell issue is something ford is just not addressing. They are basically blowing us off. That and a few other issues I've had with past cars has really soured me.

Thank God for other choices. Funny, I was watching a Dodge commercial last night (the one with Vin Diesel) and thought, "now if only Ford cared as much about (real) performance vehicles across the board and about the passion we have for performance". Outside of the high performance Mustangs, there is really nothing to really speak of.

The 2 door looks sick. If it alum body, I may be getting one of these next.

And lol at the people says no solid front axle, wont be as good as jeep. Noone offroads their SUVs. Jeep people are the worst. 37s and lift to drive around town. The most action they see is a beach. Why would you spend 30-50k on a SUV to damage it on a trail anyways? Seems like most of the serious trail guys have dedicated builds they trailer in, so even they are not offroading their drivers.
