Saw that but no real info other than new hood. I’ll do some searching I’m sure there’s actual info on Hellcat.org

Ford just had two more engines gain certification (2.0L, 2.3L) and were added to the CARB Executive Order list.

Interesting that the certification floodgates opened after Ford's announcement to slash much of the car lineup. Makes you wonder how many powerplants were developed and ready to go, only to be erased (or soon to be erased) by their latest move to appease "shareholders." Are corporate politics trumping economics or is it the other way around? Will the supercharged 5.2L engine make it past a two year run?

I wonder if they are launching the 500 as a 1/2 model year? Is it possible that Fords trying to up the power output as well? Could explain a delay in certification.

Or they paid California enough not to publish certification until a time and date of their choosing.

That's funny.

A few years ago everyone was waiting for the TracKey to be released from FRPP and we learned that the lengthy delay had to do with certification that would allow the kit to be legal in California. It took longer than expected. I learned who was responsible for the calibration but still couldn't pin down a release date. I kept looking at the Executive Order list for aftermarket parts and when it finally showed up California was included. The funny thing was when Deysha from Ford Service said the following regarding all the inquiries...

Deysha said:
Customers should be getting their info about FRPP parts from their website www.FordRacingParts.com, and not the CARB website which is not intended for viewing by retail customers.
