As far as the HP wars...Dodge is on top by 707 miles. Even if Ford releases a GT500, until they put that engine in multiple vehicles, as Dodge had sone with their big dog, then Dodge still wins.

Actually, it's only by 57 miles. The ZL1 has 650HP. And it almost runs door-to-door with Hellcats. Imagine when/if it gets the ZR1 engine. Speaking of which, if you want to look at power alone, Chevy is actually winning now with the 750HP ZR1.

Challenger, Charger, Durango SRT, Trackhawk, outgoing Viper and whatever else they are working on. Again.. Talking specifically about HP over the vehicle lineup. Not about handling, etc, etc. And these are all cars that actual people can buy, not a half a million dollar Ford GT.

Judging the Trackhawk by its stock trap speed is a fail.

We have Hellcats running 145 MPH on the stock blower, no N20. That kind of power in what will amount to a bolt on SUV with AWD will produce shocking results I'm sure...I don't expect it to be too long before there is an 8 second capable, daily driver capable, Trackhawk or 2 roaming the streets.

LOL @ Zr1 raping a Demon in a drag race, unless demon is being piloted by a window licker ;)

The corvette/ricer "can't turn" argument rears it's head once again.

Claiming a ZR1 will rape a demon in a drag race further shows your lack of critical thinking skills.
Not sure why stating the fact that the Demon is a 1 trick pony whereas the ZR1 does it all is "ricer"

You realize the Demon is heavier than the ZR1 & it's a moving brick as well, right?
I can't wait to see a head to head. Funny how you have to strip the Demon to be competitive...

I’m impressed Chevy got the ZR1 well into the 9s on a street tire.

More impressed they kept it silent from everyone except never-enough.

Well,.......let's look at the Trackhawk and Jeep SRT.
Does Ford or Chevy have anything that will compare to those 2 vehicles in the same class? Maybe I missed it?

I should have figured the thread would go this way

Tell you what. I'll get a Trackhawk, a Demon, and ZR1 and run them all head to head in dragstrip, road course, and day-to-day people hauling/shopping/inclement weather driving. Can you guess my conclusions?

And then sell them 5 min after because they are all boring relative to the rest of your collection? Lol

The Trackhawk is unique in the current fleet. The Demon will be an interesting GT car. The ZR1... not so sure.

ZR1 will kill it on the track and street. Tadge stated at the unveiling that it's meant to be a GT car.
JGC Trackhawk will be the best all-arounder for cruisability, usability, and fun.
Demon will be neck-and-neck with the Trackhawk, but will ultimately lose out to the Trackhawk's utility.

I think you're gonna give the win to the Trackhawk. The ZR1 and Demon are borderline fair-weather novelty cars, whereas the Trackhawk can be used anytime, anywhere for any use.
