My biggest issue with the gen 5 ZL1 is the weight... that’s 4K lb car. I’m sure modded it moves ok, but stock my stock Boss 302 can hang. With all that power... it’s a tank imo. But I think most cars are way to heavy now days.
Camaro= Perfect car for a girl.
Has your wife sat in and driven a 5th gen? She may change her mind if she's claustrophobic...or if she's under 5'6" tall.
I see a lot of silly responses. Mostly guys that have had no REAL experience with a 5th gen camaro, much less a 700 RWHP, magneride suspension monster.
Take my completely unbiased opinion, from a current 14' Shelby owner and a previous 5th gen camaro owner. 5th gens are great cars. You will find mostly soccer moms and millennials complaining about "visibility". Lol. It really is a non-issue. Like everything else, you learn it and adapt to it.
At 700rwhp, she will literally have no issues whooping 98% of vehicles on the road. The other 2% will likely be dedicated gear heads with modded cars or exotic owners.
Even owning the baddest highway monster Ford has offered to date, I still miss my 5th gen camaro very much.
getting everything setup to go get this car, i hope my wife is gonna be ok with all of this.I see a lot of silly responses. Mostly guys that have had no REAL experience with a 5th gen camaro, much less a 700 RWHP, magneride suspension monster.

she learned to drive a stick on my old 04 630 whp cobra 9 years ago. Been driving stick ever since.Awesome car, my girl daily drives a 675 rwhp 2015 GT, if she can handle it, go for it. Always nice to have someone right there to do car stuff with
