That is exactly what you are arguing in the post I replied to. Perhaps you should read what you wrote if you did pay attention to what you were typing. And then actually read what I posted again since it provides a direct answer to you question. Your discounting proven stastics just shows you don't really want answers so it may be a waste of you time anyway
If your attention spanned the entire thread you would see what I'm talking about. Don't attempt to tell me what I'm arguing. You didn't provide any stats so there is nothing to discount.

But again, that's not what I'm arguing. This isn't a case of distracted/inexperienced driving. A person (regardless of age) willfully broke several laws. No amount of "safety laws" would change that.

Do you also think 10-round magazine laws will curb gang shootings?

No license+ fast car+ 45 mph speed limit road at 100+ MPH means bad things will happen. Sometimes we are very lucky to have survived our stupidity as teens.

Has your resume of stupid stuff included anything comparable to unlicensed and under aged driving with a car full of clowns while leading the police on a chase reaching speeds well over the limit followed by a crash and burn?

What these boy geniuses did is well beyond the stupid card.

Minus the chase, crash and burn.

You and I know it will never be fixed. Letting 5 teens drive around is just F-ing stupid. If parents don't want to lay down law, then society has to. It already is the law in some places. Do some research and see if it is working.

Its hard to believe in America, that people think laws like this are the answer. The only thing laws like that would do is make life harder for law abiding citizens.

When I went to High school we lived clear across town from the high school, thankfully one of the neighbor kids was a year older so he had a license. He'd give several of us a ride to school each day, and without that as an option it would have been very tough for us.

Parents are probably more pissed that they can't cash in on a claim against the police than they are about the accident itself.

Are there more details on this yet? Can't seem to find anything anywhere. @SolarYellow you sure are quick to condemn the passengers of the car, why? When you're a passenger in a vehicle you're at the drivers mercy. You seem to think the passengers were complicit with the drivers actions. With the little we know now, I think only the driver should be condemned.

Unless they appeared in the vehicle by spontaneous human teleportation........

What's tragic is that the police are being blamed for this and there are idiots who just believe it without having the facts in front of them.

Knowing exactly what you are getting into makes it difficult to give the four other hot dogs a contrition.
good thing you aren't a judge... think 15 year olds should have perfect discretion at all times...if you have kids I hope they are locked in their rooms 24/7 so they are safe.

From your lips to god's ears. You'd see even more people in jail.

These putzes didn't do something stupid. What they knowingly and willingly did goes far beyond stupidity. Perhaps I am giving these kids too much credit because how do you not know your underage friend doesn't have a drivers license and shouldn't be driving? You don't question where he obtained his wheels?

The delinquents were not in their first rodeo. I guarantee the kids were involved with wrong-doing before and I absolutely guarantee Kowalski drove a car before this fatal stunt.

If they knew what they were doing they wouldn't habe gotten into the car.. it could have been complete ignorance as driving was about to be a new chapter in theirs lives. I've met good kids with shit parents and shit kids with good parents. All luck of the draw and I feel sorry for the 4 kids who potentially thought they weren't in danger but he can go ahead and be glad they're dead
