Damn shame. They were doomed from the drop. Doubt the blue lights had much to do with the poor decision making, went thru the intersection well over 100 and the car unweighted got loose and it was over...guessing the type of kids that were riding with the driver had no interest in slowing down or getting out until it was too late.

We need to get some more particulars about the age of the driver and how he was in possession of this car. I read a comment in the youtube video page that said he was 15, but I don't know how accurate that is.

my money says the other three were applying "peer pressure to get him to show off his wheels. wonder if they put any pressure on him to pull the hell over and let them out

I can certainly see why the police were so quick to get out in front of this with the dash cam video and facts. They had to before rumors and hearsay caused things to spiral out of hand.

As a teen driving around with a large group to impress and also egg the driver on, things happen. Also if the car has 5 occupants that would be visible for the entire ride and draw attention to authorities. Speeding only happens sporadically.

Kid driving is an absolute idiot. He had no license and was reckless driving with 4 other minors and the parents have the nerve to blame the police? Wow. Wonder where the kid got the car.

An kid did something impulsive and several people paid the ultimate price for his decision. It's that simple. LE did their job.
