So I felt my RS was too quite and all the exhaust systems I like are almost 1000 dollars. So I decided A muffler delete would be a cheap way to make her a little louder, I know some people don't like the way it sounds but I love it. Anyway let me know what you guys think and any other RS guys on the page post up your aftermarket exhaust system, I would like to hear it.

I think it sounds cool, you can hear the turbo whistle and it isn't just noise

Any chance we could get a flyby video?

Sounds good! Exhaust prices are too damn high though, I need to get an active exhaust system eventually but the prices are crazy.

Thanks guy's, it really does sound a lot deeper in person and the pops and crackles sound insane lol, and yes I need to do some flyby videos of the setup.

Reminds me of when I put just an O/R pipe on my SVT Focus when I was younger. Didn't sound like anything on the road and wasn't exactly incredible sounding, but it was pretty chunky sounding for what it was and had a lot of low end growl.

I honestly wasn't expecting that it would sound decent, but it really sounds good. Nice choice. Looks good underneath, too. Nice and clean without the mufflers. Well done!

bro its a focus.

You're expecting a lot.

Lol, maybe so. It is weird to me for people to modify the exhaust on 4 bangers for sound purposes. If you're doing it for performance purposes cool, but it will never sound good IMO.

different strokes different folks

but I'm with ya - i'd never buy a 4 banger, but if I did i wouldnt modify the exhaust. Steve did a good job with his, though. :)

Sounds better than I was expecting, does it drone? I can't bring myself to put an exhaust on this car, I've owned a few now but I still don't like the way 4 cylinders sound lol.

I close my eyes and I think I'm at a ricer meet. Maybe it's the constant revving that gives me those thoughts lol.

Not hating on the car, as I've thought about one as well, but I don't like the way it sounds without mufflers.

Thanks buddy, I'm that guy that has to have every car I own loud lol, My Terminator is probably the loudest car I have ever owned.

I'm not a big fan of them but I really like the way the RS sounds and the pops sound badass and yes it does drone a little on the highway

It's all good man, I knew not everyone would be a fan of it and that's ok. The RS is the only 4 cylinder car I would ever own.
