With E85, water wetter, and big dual fan heat exchanger I don't notice any significant heat soak on my TVS even dead in the summer.

Heat soak sill be noticed with that setup when you start to max the blower out. At stock block boost levels heat soak is not much of an issue with the upgraded head exchanger.

i think that tires play a big part on how satisfied you are with power. if you have drag radials you will want more power quicker than if you had regular crappy tires.

Thats for sure! The car was scary with Pzeros kicking sideways at 80mph. Add a set of DRs and it feels tame from 40+ mph.

Never made it to the track before the weather got crappy. Yes.

I gotcha.....it's a little different than roll racing because you have to deal with the staging lane's, burnout, and 1/4 pass. That's where I see/why I mentioned the PD blower's heat soaking and having to let them cool twice as long as a centrifugal set-up.

Yeah I know what you're saying. I did a lot of data logging in the summer after Shaun did my tunes. In the city, in traffic, out at the local racing spots, etc. I watched it like a hawk for a while just to make sure I couldn't find any unsafe instances so I could feel perfectly comfortable with the tune.

I think running a tad rich on the E85 really seems to help keep the charge cooler. I could be wrong though.

How the heck are you guys going to get 600+whp to hook up on the street even with suspension and a tire? Or are we talking roll racing here?

Im spinning through 1st, 2nd, and part of 3rd stock. Will definitely have to find better tires before I boost.

well I have to agree with the OP post, I have a paxton right now putting 700+ to the wheels and im still looking for more. Have a full triple pump return going in and a wastegate setup set at 11psi. Taking a ride in a single turbo really made me look for more :( Lets see what this wastegate setup does

Yep, I'm with several others. Procharger 12psi, E85, over 700 at the wheels and want more! Just got the car to the track this last Saturday for the first time and immediately wanted to go faster.

If I lower the tire pressure to around 16psi and heat them up it hooks launchs pretty good on the street. Not as good as on the drag strip but good enough. I am sure tha launches are harder for pd blower guys though.

What with power on the street from a dig hooks?

You tell me. Because once your past the point of dig racing at least launching off idle then I personally don't want it. A street car witha ton of useless power does not interest me.

Which might have something to do with my gernaded mt82.
