killer chiller > dual fan exchanger

do it and never look back your IATs will be way below ambient whenever you want

So you have to run your a/c compressor all the time with the chiller? Also heard the a/c is not as cool inside the car. But to run 40 degrees cooler than stock would be awesome.

I assume I could run this INSTEAD of a dual fan HE? or WITH one? I guess the dual fan AND chiller would be a sweet combo

Yes if you want the cooling effect use your AC of course once you turn it off youll lose the cooling temps and will rely solely on the exchanger. Some when visiting the track keep the AC on up till you do your burnout and by the time you get down the track the temps will just be starting to rise.

if you get the killer chiller running a aftermarket exchanger actually heats it back up. Some people have been going the route of cutting out the exchanger with one turn getting intercool temps of 40deg. Then if you need or want to use the exchanger just turn the valve and get your exchanger back.

If you were in NC I would gladly put it to rest for you. I have an 11 though. The 07-09 are the same. 10 is the refined model but still cast iron block. 11-12 has the aluminum block with 3.55 stock gearing in base model and 3.73s in SVTPP. Not knowledgeable person on the Mach but it seems like some are putting it on par with the 03-04 cobra. Anything can and happen on the street. Nothing wrong if you win a race because there are many variables. You out drove a poor driver and cool.

You can add headers and what you want but a 07-09 with good traction is still going to rape you with a decent driver. Great run and you won. The driver lost not the car. Sometimes we have to be rational about things.

Just saw this when reading back threw! What you got? What kind of mods we talking? My mach just has a turbo and intake spacer!

Its all about perspective.. good race man your gonna need more than headers to beat a gt500.

Yeah, it will take a 70mm turbo. :) Ask me how I know. :) :)

 You don't got to believe it.

I keep re-reading the posts looking for signs of jokery, but I see none. That car has ~435rwhp, and you have what, 292rwhp? The few hundred pound weight advantage doesn't go that far!

Mach 1 is a nice car, but you will need FI to pull on a GT500. Why do I feel like I am the only one seeing this.

Wait, are we racing on or off the dyno? Wanna make sure we are on the same page...

Nope, a full bolt on Mach 1 should pull a stock 07ish GT500. Atleast I think I could. :rolling:

By full bolt on, you mean a mach with a blower bolted on...correct? Bc you said you got beat by a Shelby that was spinning... Granted I see 10 pages that I did not read, something may of changed..
