Go back a few pages, shaun @ AED tested that and both SCT and Diablo DO NOT reset key counts and some other technical data (forget what it was) :p

Also what tuners are starting to tune with the intune? Steeda on it yet? I had steeda and switched to AED

It appears that none of the top tuners are on board with the exception of JPC.

I still don't understand the attitude that people seem to think that if someone mods their car and it blows that we should be able to flash it back to stock and let Ford foot the bill.

That's not my attitude, I wouldnt even bother if I did that. I know the chances I'm taking doing so, and I'm fine with it. What I am concerned with is, say I tune the car and the water pump goes out, or the rear main seal starts leaking. That should be covered, I don't see how a tune has any effect on either.

Ford will cover that even with a tune. My TIVCT solenoids went out with full exhaust and tune. they replaced them no questions asked. Biggest thing is dont be a douchebag to your service writer, they will take care of you.

When I talked to the local tuner this weekend about it (They deal with Diablo for Mopar), he stated to me that the data tables available at this time with the inTune are inferior to the data tables accessible through SCT. He told me that have messed with the inTune on Fords, and that was their conclusion.

Kindness...60% of the time, it works every time. I'm more worried about what 5pointohh said, and future TSBs that might pop up.

Aaron or JPC,

I have a few questions regarding diablo tunes. You guys are actually 10 minutes from where I live:thumbup:

my first question is, do you offer custom dyno tuning for diablo or is it only for SCT?

I like the intune but I am a little more interested in the trinity. Does trinity also provide no prints left tune or is that option only for intune?

Can trinity monitor knock and AFR for 2013 GT? I think I heard somewhere that the trinity had issues monitoring AFR.

Finally, do you guys have the intune and trinity in stock and are you still offering 10% forum member discount?

Thanks:)

Well that sucks. I wonder what's missing vs the sct?
I think it's just a matter of not having the ability to log them. I remember seeing another thread or post on here awhile back (may even be in this thread) about someone saying they returned the inTune due to it's lack of datalogging capacity

I think it depends entirely on what you are having done to the car at the dealer. If you have the car towed in with a rod sticking out of the hood then they will probably dig deeper. Dealer probably do not have the tools to dig into the ECU but Ford sure as hell does. Dealers can use deductive reasoning. If my car has a CEL and I need to take it in for OBD2 emissions I cannot simply clear the code and drive over there. I need to drive the car around to get certain monitors to read ready. If you show up to the dealer and they are suspicious they will probably check to see if the battery was recently disconnected. From there they can probably try to bluff you into saying they found something and see if you bite. If you don't then they can probably call Ford and see if they can send the ECU off to them to do a more thorough search. If you think any tuner leaves zero trace you are only kidding yourself.

Also, there are people from Ford that do search forums so if you really do have a big problem with your car don't be surprised if they are already expecting a 2013 Race Red Auto in the Houston area.

A week to be exact  I'm taking a half day next Tuesday And taking it in around 1. (im taking it to the Nearest dealer, the one that told me if the PCM is modified my warranty is voided) I'm not sweating it though, from what I've read on this forums and other I truly believe that this device does not reset key counts, or leave any trace/foot print behind.

We offer our customers both SCT and Diablo as far as tuning goes. The trinity works the same way as the intune as far as the fingerprint discussion is concerned.

Yes, the trinity can display both spark and knock. In our JPC 2011 Car with the Paxton kit on it, we dont have any aftermarket gauges. We simply set the trinity up on the dash and it displays everything we need. We only offer a 10% discount on labor and a 5% discount on our parts we manufacture. I've got a few intune's left (We've been selling alot of them) but I'm currently out of stock on the Trinity's. I can get them within a few days though.

Swing by the shop sometime and I'll show you how it all works

You guys may not be able to answer my question due to you Diablosport sponsorship but ill ask anyway. What do you guys at JPC prefer to tune with Diablosport or SCT? Which is the better choice? You are the only shop i no of that sells and tunes with both.

i'm not sure if i've made myself clear, but i will give it one last shot. First, theres no way in HELL i would show up to the dealer with a blown motor expecting the dealership to replace the motor IF I TUNED IT, and it blew. Thats not the case, i will be held fully responsible for my car. " you gotta pay to play ". I'm not one of those guys that wants " something for nothing ". With that being said, i drive the car sensible and it don't abuse the car - i enjoy it. I'm not worried about gernading a motor, but i still do want my factory warrenty in tact. My task is simple. I'm out to find when I take the car in, if they can find any codes or footprints with the intune. And if they do, i'm not worried about it, and if they don't - thats fine with me too. Either way I will be a happy customer, being i got great service from JPC and the intune looks like a hell of a product!

Had my stock no tune car at the dealership for two days this week for a stalling issue and the yellow wrench light come on and going off. Got the call today and they said there was no codes for the light and they had to remote my PCM to ford to have them read it. They didn't find any codes either but the dealer sent it to them because they thought I had tune the car.

So, we now know the dealership will contact ford and ford will remotely read the PCM better than what the dealer can. This is just an FYI. I'm not sure if I'm glad I didnt have a tune or sad. I kind of want to see if ford would be able to see anything from a tune.

So if someone has an SCT device already they can get a custom JPC tune emailed to them? My buddy tried from you guys and they said no
