So I took my car to the track today with the MT drag radials and figured out the car needs more gear or more power to make the car leave. Best pass was a 11.9@121 with a 1.997 60' car would just dead hook and bog and inlet temps were between 95 -105 when leaving but down to 80 on the return road. I tried once with the factory launch control in sport mode and the left a big cloud of clutch dust and still ran 12.0@120, then when I would try to leave with more rpm once the clutch was out it felt like the car shut off for a split second then started to pull normal. Then on a few runs the car was real flat until 4000 rpm. I know there is some sort of clutch protection built into the ecu and I think that's what happened on the passes that I tried to leave at 3500-4000 rpm car would start to move dead hook and fall flat on its face. For comparison my 2012 with a VMP pulley tune and x pipe ran 11.4-11-6@ 120-122 but would 60' 1.67-1.72 and ran 95 in the 1/8 the 13 ran 93 in the 1/8 so I would say at this point on sticky tires on a good track this car will not leave to save its life and no way it will 60' like my 2012 did without some 3.73's or more power down low to make the car 60'? I will say my clutch held up so that's good news.
