I just bought my 12 two weeks ago with the choice of getting a 13 if I wanted. I just prefer the cleaner looks of the 12 personally.

This is one statement that Kingnut was referring to that I have said before, but Im compelled to say it again. Those painted body panels are going to get rock chipped to shit.

Im more worried about what the rear panel behind the rear tire is gonna look like after 10K miles. Gonna be a good time to be selling blackout decklid panels, after some miles rack up on the 13's they'll come running for em.

I hate the rear lower lights on the bumper. It looks so damn busy. Anyone have a side shot and a front shot of both cars side by side please? It would really help, good thread also op. I think both cars are awesome and saw the 13 headlights in person and love them. For some reason i like the 13 cs but hate the wheels but still looks better than the 11 cs. I look at the side skirts and associate them as an upgrade painted like how the g35 infinitys were unpainted until 05 . A little 3m clearcoat would protect the rockers etc. 11 is definitely a steal at 25 k used right now and still like the cooled pistons which they got rid of on the 13. I wonder if the times at the track would be identical with an aftermarket tune and drag radical on 11 and 13 as the horsepower bump is supposed to be from the tune?

Obviously I'm biased to a '13 as I own one but while owning my 05 3v I thought the 2010+ design was a fail. As time passed it definitely grew on me.

Lets be fair and compare an HID equipped 11 vs a HID equipped 13

11-12 cars take the cake for me, im not biased i have had the opportunity to own either year.
Way more aggressive front end and hood on the 11-12 cars. Maybe more functionality with the 13 with hood vents but those were added for looks not because of any problems with over heating issues.

Nice color choice though

who the hell cares? if you like a 11-12 buy one. if you like a 13+ buy one. EVERYONE WILL BE bitching about how the car they OWN looks better.

I'm going with a 13, due to the NEEDED upgrades over the 11-12. changed MT82, revised Coyote, and updated styling. at first i didn't like the 10+ but its grown on me and the 13 is just a better car when comparing features. i like the new tails, and with a few GT500 inspired accents the 13s will look PERFECT. GT500 front bumper/wing, lowered, wheels, tint.

I've got a few local dealers looking for a GB for me.

LOL, I like my bumper thank you. To me it has an aftermarket look from the factory. After swapping the grille and adding a CS splitter I will be much happier though.

If you have a 11-12 there is absolutely no reason to upgrade to a 2013. As expensive as the recaros are, it would be cheaper to buy the track pack parts outright than to take a hit over cosmetic upgrades. If you don't have an 11-12 and want a new car, the 13 is a no brainer.
