As far as color of blower goes,I hope they make it in the stock look for those who want it to look stock and black for the others, choice is always good, like with the new TVS over a twin screw.

Has there ever been a test of a Roots blower, anykind,of proper size done on a 2003 Cobra,If the 2.3 TVS can keep up with a ZR1 with CNC ported heads and enough cooling to road race, it must be more than a good blower,it must be very good.Perhaps ford used a twinscrew on GT Supercar because TVS wasn't out yet.Never know.

I have had two TVS prototypes on my 03 Cobra for more than 2.5 years.
The results have been very good.
That's why we decided to manufacture this set up for the Terminators.
Results have been great on the ZR1, CTSV, GT500s and many other models.
The unit we are making is make specifically for the 03-04 Mustang Cobras.
The results on the production model should be even better than on the prototype units.
If you have a moment read back through this thread there are a lot of pictures and good information.
Thank you for your interest.

Everyone i think lables better as more power but in some case peak hp with weaker mid range with a larger unit isnt everyones cup of tea.I've looked at both and since my setup is going to be a high compression low boost setup it isnt even a question.Check out the times the VMP 2011 gt are running vs the kenne bell/Whipple times. And to really do a true comparison it would need to be a low( 8 ) mid (16) and high (20+) LBS of boost. Also have IAT1/2, hp,tq and AFR on all runs so that a proper over lay may be seen.My money on avg hp/tq on low boost will be the tvs.Mid boost level ad would go to the screw blower as far as hp with tq being weaker then the tvs.And high boost hp gap would be bigger giving it to the screw. But its all in what you want a lot of people are kinda coming around to not want to have to run huge boost pressure to make the number anymore.

Someone was asking for a comparson between a twinscrew and TVS superchargers, there is a writeup in 5.0 Mustang and Super Ford,http://www.mustang50magazine.com/techarticles/m5lp_0906_gt500_supercharger_tests/index.html,that should get you there.

I fixed the link for you Mustang GT500 Supercharger Tests - 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords Magazine

Lots of good info in that article. However, I wish they would've used the comparable blower for the test/comparison. If they would've used the Whipple 2.3 to compare to the TVS 2.3 I think that would've been a fair contrast for people to determine the results they prefer. Putting the much larger KB 2.8 against the 2.3 TVS is like putting a Pit Bull against Lassie and then saying "Lassie didn't do too well." Just my thoughts!

The TVS has been my blower of choice ever since Rick started posting data a few years ago. I'm glad we have KB and Whipple options out here, but I wanted to stay true to my roots (pun intended lol):burnout:

Interesting article.
Keep in mind Justin's GT500 with the VMP TVS makes well over 800.

We will have one with your name on it.

Nice how much power will it make at 22psi on e85

We haven't tried E85 yet.
At 23lbs with a mild tune and mixed race gas we were at 675/668.
Justin says with straight race gas 700+ should be easy obtainable.
That is a bit much for my comfort level on my stock motor.
