HOLY CRAP!!! IT IS 2007 ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!

I know, how about you people get a major magazine to host a shoot-out. Oh wait, that WAS done back in 2007. The August issue to be exact. Held at a Old Bridge in NJ. And guess what, Jaime and I were the ONLY two New Edge Cobras to show up and run. And we were seriously outgunned.

Get over it and go on with you lives. Or get a "do-over" and show up and run.

all a matter of opinion

and I'm a girl, dislike pink and would never drive a bug (unless its a cool older one maybe), and love my little v6 mustang but cant wait to stick in the 4v we got, sometime this year. although right now I just miss the car, no matter how crappy it looks and runs...Lol

thanks Inspection might be a bish though lol... and it wont look completely like a v6 just badges, rear bumper, side scoop...

and one of my bf's friends came by yesterday, he just picked up 99 cobra for about 9k, looks great. i dont keep up with current prices and stuff but I gotta say, I dont think you'd find a mach that cheap

When it comes to buying either an 99/01 cobra or Mach1, its all about finding the best deals. I bought my 01 cobra with 10,254 miles for a mediocre $9500 for an old guy who could not drive it anymore.

This stuff is pitiful to read. All you guys saying a new edge cobra is slower than a mach is smoking something in my opinon and that's all this boils down to is opinons. I have outran every mach i have ever been beside except one and he was a geared, big/little combo, with boltons that got me by a fender at the track and guess what.......I was on the stock 3.27 gear with stock wheels with dr's on the back with exhaust and a tune. The difference between these cars are drivers and thats it!!!!!!!!! All this talk about the machs run this time and that sounds about like my cobra. I ran a string of 13.08's on stock street tires with the 3.27 and irs along with boltons. The only reason I did'nt hit a 12 on the stock street tires was second gear spin, ask Brebar as he witnessed one of those 13.08 passes letting off in second cause it was spinning. I finally did run a 12.81 on the stock 3.27/irs combo but I had to put my drs on myt stock wheels to combat spin in second. I was dissapointed there was no bolt on machs at the shootout and surprised there was'nt. The guy that won it did have a complete '04 cobra engine in his car so what's a mach about that. One thing of note from the shootout was the 60ft's of mine and kevins cars were better than all the solid axle machs except roys car. This argument about which is better is lame because both cars are very similar. I was on the cover in the silver Cobra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well hey.. according to a few others on this thread, thats all you need to have a perfecxt 99/01 cobra.. a v6 look-a-like with a motor thats slower than a mach 1.. blah... 99/01 cobra ftw!!! :beer:

I love machs but i wouldnt give up my 01 cobra for the world. When i was looking for another car i had to choose between a black 01 cobra or a black mach 1. I ended up with the cobra and never looked back. Raced my buddy in his 03 mach and beat him by a bumper. I had a bbk throttle body and jlt rai, he had a bbk throttle body with a x pipe and catback. Both are awesome cars. We all win IMO
