Well if you generally don't want a tuner to check over your car before they put that kind of stress on it you're a bigger jackass than I initially thought.:bash:

listen you piece of shit, Im smart enough to check my own car over and know whether it is good to go or not good to go on the dyno. So if he checked it or not im still comfortable knowing it will be fine. Is it really necessary to put someone down in every comment you make? grow up

Guys come on no need to go there with each other ... no one means any harm... we are all good guys that work hard to have fun...

You made this statement -

So...what was the point of this thread then?

since there is so much written and you prolly are as tired of reading as i am .. the point is to let everyone know about this type of thing.

Do better homework on shops ask alot of questions and to GET IT IN WRITING

Don't trust your friend or word of mouth ...

Pictures coming up...
OH and FYI

his will quiet some people about my OIL set up!

Where all the top rod bearings hammered like it had bean detonating? just the one rod and bearing?

If the oil pump wasnt operating for any of the runs you surely would have heard some wicked valve train noise with hydraulic lifters

I also run a dyno shop here in CT and know shit happens.

I am not posting in reference to either party here as I do not know either party..

Nice i'll answer this i have the parts!!!

The crank wasn't damaged at all just had to be flux'd looks great..

The bearring were not all shot only a couple

As there were a couple pistons with signs of being leaned out.

No valve issuse at all and the heads are perfectly fine.

I can't honestly answer the top rod bearing question.

The oil pump is broken.... I have an accusump on my stang to prevent LOW OIL LEVELS its AUTOMATIC!

You and I are not so different, I took my car to be tuned by someone in Mass. Had my shoulders rubbed told i'd be fine and i got comfortable with them and spent an ass load of money with them. got a bad tune and blew my motor. Went back to the tuner for help and he said i was on my own. The feeling in the pit of your stomach is horrible knowing you just got taken for a ride. I had to jump back on the horse and start over.

I'm sorry this happend.. And this is why we are here for days like this..

Like you it’s not so much the dollar amount as much as it is the TRUST you put into a company. they make you beleive that they will do anything for you , however if its going to hit them in the pocket NO way they dont even want to talk to you.

It’s all about TRUST!

These DEZ racing handjobs are not thinking about the principle and value they are simply defending and protecting...

That right there says volumes to me....

Why defend if you’re innocent...

The gears in the oil pump just broke?

I would have to think if your motor was revved to 6500 3 times with a broken oil pump it there would not be a bearing left.

That accusump is only good for one shot and will not repressurize it self it the oil system is not working.

AGREED ! so guess what .. with my engine builders report being as yours speculates it looks like somone would lose in court ...

Though i still chose not to go this route. I have reminded Mike from Dez racing in one of the post that he has my phone number to give me a call.

I know it's annoying to have someone point out how much of an idiot you are but calm down; I'm sorry my honesty offended you.

Franny please don't go getting yourself in the middle of what YOU do not know.

Your just a HAND puppet there and a ass kisser wanna be . Have some balls create your own individuality.

are you still working at toyota? wait your qualified to speak because you own a terminator with BBK bolt ons ! LOL

I think a lot of you guys are missing the point here.

Jon (OP) isnt JUST talking about his his motor blowing up on the dyno.
It was how he was treated. And the fact that Mike neglacted to realise something was obviously going to fail after a 100hp drop twice.

Mike should have said somethings obviously not right, you or were going to have to pull the motor and check it out.

Not just be hopeful, and maybe the car will make 100hp again. Comeon, thats common sence.

But if you acuaally read the OP's post, you will see how all of his shit was scattered around the shop. In his car which is bullshit. I would be pissed. All over the shop, random bolts everywhere.

Then Mike's bs. Jon pays him good money to be taken care of. Dyno tune, motor pulled, But Mike always has his buddys there, and is to busy talking to them or on the phone, he treats his paying customers like shit.

Seriously man, get off Mikes dick. You really think it was okay for Mike to give it another pull AFTER it lost 100hp? Any dumbass would know not too, its just common sense.

i wouldnt have put it on the dyno in the first place. also for what its worth if it lost 100 hp it was already toast at that point.

The OP didnt know there was anything wrong with his car der. Your so far up Mikes ass all I can see is your feet.

Even if it was already toast, your getting away from the customer service part. Jons parts were all over the place. Talking to you is like talking to a wall.
