I figured the Gators were going to fall a few spots. But the fact that Notre Dame isn't even top 25 and only recieved 11 votes kinda suprised me. On the other hand, I'm very happy to see South Florida is getting some recognition with 28 votes.

Well the team with the best record in the SEC over the past 10 years and the only team to beat the National Champions last year is getting no respect as usual. Do expect them in the top 10 by years end and piss on the BcS.

Glad to see A&M made the list. They've got a tough schedule this year, with a game at Miami, and all..... But the Horns are coming to our house this year!!! 2 in a row?!?!!!!???? Lets hope so!

1. USC is going to lose to Nebraska in week 2 and have to play catch-up to get to the championship.

2. LSU will go undefeated and reach the national championship game.

3. Florida will in the east, barely (maybe even with 2 losses), over Georgia. Their defense will struggle.

4. Texas will run through their schedule and play LSU for the national championship.

5. The 'Ville will win the Big East, not WVU.

6. Ohio St. will be ranked lower than 20 when bowl season rolls around.

Shout away people.

ps. Why is VT ranked so highly? I don't keep up with the ACC much, what's going on there? Pity rank?

ya'll are going to get absolutely destroyed this year
the Big XII south is going to be stout like always. I see USC, Texas, Michigan, and Florida State doing really well. Texas Tech is finally coming together wtih some depth, a quarterback starting for his 2nd year, and some age/experience on defense.....WRECK EM TECH!

USC shouldn't have a problem winning it all this year.

While I'm a Gator fan, I don't see them winning them all. Heck, they'll probably lose 2-3, and probably not even make it to the SEC championship. They got 2 starters on defense returning, and 6 offensive starters returning. It's gonna be a "rebuilding year", unless some magic happens and the team gels really well.

South Carolina or Tennessee from the East, LSU or Auburn from the West. USC(Southern Cal) over everyone.

Surprise team of the year...FSU. They got rid of Baby Bowden and his awful offensive calling. Their defense is stout, and their offense will improve from last year. Xavier Lee and Drew will switch in and out, and they'll take care of business.

Shocking, from an SEC nutswinger, eh? And a Gator fan at that!:)

ok

I don't like florida state.... I don't really see them doing that well. I would say they will be a 7-5 team this year. Maybe a 8-4 team if they can beat clemson which is something they always have a hard time doing. Not really sure about lsu. I believe they could loose 2 games. I think WVU has a great chance seeing as their only real competition they really have is the rutgers and l'ville. Don't forget about Wisconsin.
