Does anybody know what these chevy "supercars" run in stock form? Are they 10sec or 11sec quarter mile runners or slower? I've seen one around here, but i heard the guy only was able to run mid 12s at 122ish. Any info would be appreciated. :beer:

Are you talking about the track or on the street from like a 40-45??
They will run high 10's low 11's with a good driver. Most of the old farts that buy them can't run high 11's low 12's more than likely. If you jump on one from a roll you better be ready though.

from what i've seen they're not impressive. all the stock times i've seen have been high 11's at between 115-118. deff not on par with the gt500. I'd love to get a nice little 20 roll in with one if i can find one. 
Both. I'm not worried about racing one, i was just curious how they run in the 1/4, and how they run on the street from a roll.

Better gearing, more weight and they do get heat soaked.
i think a c6z would be quite a bit faster than a zl1. just in sheer weight and aerodynamics the vette should control it. that's why a zr1 is still a bit faster than a new gt500 even tho the gt500 has more hp. I would say with a couple bolt ons a termy will be able to keep up with one from a roll. but I do not know how well the like mods either.
the zr1 makes 560ish to the wheel and weighs 3300lbs. it has a badass magnetic suspension system and in the right hands can/has go/gone high tens 100% stock, 132+ traps
yea zr1 is no joke man, dont get it confused with the zl1. ive read guys on here saying u need about 80-100rwhp more than a vette in a terminator to make up for weight and aerodynamics.
Cool. Thanks for all the info guys. I had a friend race one from about 30-150 in his tt gto and put about 3-4 cars on the vette. Guy in vette said he had trouble hitting the gears, but if you cant drive, you lose.lol

Really depends on the driver. Fastest time for a bone stock with DRs is 10.33 I believe. What you saw (115-118 trap) is just pathetic.
It's a 50/50 chance if you run into one on the street. Some of the guys who bought them didn't even know how to drive stick before they bought the car. No joking!!

Just to make clarify, you do know we're talking about the Corvette ZR1 right and not a Camaro ZL1 right? I've never ever heard of or seen one trap under 122 even with a terrible driver. To trap 115 is absolutely unheard of. They must be shifting at 3k rpm through the whole 1/4 mile lol. A BASE LS3 corvette traps more than 115 with only 430HP. The ZR1 has 638HP.
You want to race a ZR1 from a 20 roll with nothing but a ported eaton and bolt ons:shrug:

Don't believe because you seen or heard one that trapped 115 that they all do! That's the lowest in ZR1 history! They will typically trap 128+. They have even trapped 133 bone stock.
There's just certain things in life that's not possible and one of them are, a Ported Cobra will NOT be able to keep up with a ZR1 from a roll. To be honest, a ported eaton may have a little trouble with a stock BASE Corvette LS3 with 430 HP from a roll depending on the roll speed. All Corvettes are top end monsters especially when you start talking Z06/ZR1.
The average twin screw Cobra will still lose to a stock ZR1 from a roll. It would take a KILLER setup, High Boost, Aggressive timing/ tune, E85 etc to keep up with a stock ZR1 from a roll especially when talking higher speed rolls.

Z06 3199 lbs, 505 hp= 6.33 lb/hp
ZL1 4120 lbs, 580 hp = 7.10 lb/hp
13 GT500 3852 662 hp = 5.81 lb/hp
04 Cobra 3665 lbs, 390 hp (reality about 425 hp) 9.39 lb/hp (8.62 reality lb/hp)
minor mods say 450 wheel/530 flywheel hp = 6.92 lb/hp
this is why a mildly modded Terminator (pulley, tune CAI and catback) can run (in a straight line) with a stock ZL1.. and why the 13 GT500 is way out of it's league..

i watched a Ford GT run 11's at my local track when he beat a ZR1 that ran 12's....
