Well i started out with a pretty solid car to begin with since the motor had already been built by MMR and the heads had their stage 3 port and polish job. To top it off I had a KB 2.1 and all the supporting mods to go with it. Well i decided that i wanted more and in order to do that i needed to do a C head swap plus an eaton swap. I plan on getting a bigger KB or whipple whenever i find one. I already have the C heads but i need to get them ported and polished. I have a complete eaton kit headed my way soon so ill document as much as i can with that. I still need to find a set of valve covers, COP's and harness for the conversion, fuel injectors (im not sure what size yet), fuel pump upgrades (i dont see much of a choice but i think i need to go with an 03-04 fuel tank with dual pumps), and last but not least i need a KB or whipple.

started with this

then took of this ( you can see the C heads in the background)

Now im at this point.. what a friggin mess!

Cool, Im thinking about going this route more and more. Built Bottom, C heads and a 2.9. Trying to do it under the stock hood. Ive done some research and the 2.9 is actually a cm shorter than the eaton. Any input on that?

i have zero info on that. Whatever route i go though i wont make the hood a deciding factor. im thinking about going KB liquid cooled.

ok. Litteraly overnight i got most of the things i was needing thanks to 95SC on this forum. Complete eaton swap kit, COP's, Valve Covers, COP covers, and a Kenne bell 2.2 all headed my way. I then purchased a fore triple fuel hat that will hold 3 walbro pumps and then a canton intercooler coolant tank that fits where the battery goes.. both of those were purchased from this forum. Im just waiting for some sort of reply from the guy making the COP conversion harness and then finding a set of 80lb injectors (im doing E85). I also have a Killer Chiller on my purchase list for tomorrow. THIS SHIzniT IS FUN!

you have to pay to play. But you know what, these forums make it a lot easier to do it for cheaper than buying brand new. This just gave me a good idea. Im going to post what i payed for everything so everyone can see how i did this on mostly used parts and see if this is really a route they want to go. Im going to edit my first post and add all that in there.

Nice build man, I'm glad I could help. You still have few days to make up your mind before I ship your parts :D:D one on the left or on the right

Crusher 3.4, nice. I just installed one in a customers car. You might have to do a little modifying lol.

Well from the looks of it ill probably have to trim some of the sheet metal on the back of the firewall correct? im assuming ill need a new hood also.

I need some advice. Im staying with the return style fuel system and im confused on what kind of rails i will need to get. Ive already got a tripple fore hat and a 2003 fuel tank. I know ill need to modify the tank for the return but thats not a problem. I just need to know what fuel rails to get. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Most 99-04 4V aftermarket fuel rails will work for you as they are open on both sides so they can be run in both applications [return-less and return style]

I have a set of used red Sullivan fuel rails that I won't be using on my new project.

lmao... let me know the details and how much. DEREK TO THE RESCUE AGAIN. O and by the way, Derek is personally delivering all the parts (5,000 worth) to me. He is driving from Illinois all the way down to San Antonio.
