Enough 4.6 motors have spit out spark plugs that the helicoil corporation has put togeather a spark plug thred repair kit specifically for the the 4.6 and 5.4 Ford engines. If my Cobra ever shot out a plug, I would pull the head off and take it to a machine shop, but then again, I do all the work on the Cobra my self so I dont have to worry about paying a ton of money on labor.
