That's your opinion...but the people who already have a 106mm and want to go faster would disagree.


i know, thats why they make 114mm turbos, which are also overkill imo. spiro pappas comes to mind. he runs a 106 on a straight race camaro and hasnt maxed out its potential yet.

whats that 122 good to, 2500hp? a 106 or a 114 can do that. tom kempf makes 1800whp through a big stalled glide for example. factor in all the loss and thats roughly 2200hp, almost what that big, non spooling bastard is capable of.

Yeah, those turbos pictures arn't from trains. Trains probably don't even use a turbo as big as the OP, they just use 8 of them.
