I understand your thought, but I have to disagree with the analogy used here. Remember, you’re not changing the performance characteristics of the car at all.

Making you’re wife fat would surely change her physical abilities to perform certain tasks vs someone not.

Seems like the looks on the car are what everyone really care about then. No body likes the interior or engine or trans as much poor Cobra. Because I see those being changed a dime a dozen.

Why not buy a base mustang and drop a cobra motor in it. Would be cheaper.

IF you are born a Cobra "VIN" then you are a Cobra. That is why the Saleen and Roush Cobras are still Cobras. They have different badging and body kits but are still Cobras.
