Got to work yesterday and we had a big....no wait....BIG truck there making a delivery!!! Drove down from the Detroit area over 3-1/2 days.

204 feet long with 78 wheels!!! Holy cow!
All I had was my iPhone to get pics, so sorry for the quality:

Did a VERY quick merge on these three:

The rear section has an engine and driver compartment. The front of the rear section is steerable for making tight turns. Impressive engineering in this thing for sure!

Arrived and left with a two state trooper escort.

BTW...HERE is the delivery company's website with pics of their big trucks!

Was quite the buzz here!

Local paper did a short story and posted a pic on front page of business section (I think it was). Prob pissed off a bunch of people as they left right after lunch time. Can't imagine the traffic hassles this thing causes as it goes thru a city.

Heard they do a lot of driving during night hours.

For sure! I mean, how in the heck could you even turn a corner with a rig that long.

You ought to see them come thru WV with rigs like that. I still do not know how they do it on our VERY SMALL 2 lane roads. For a while they had I-64 thru WV closed to big traffic and they had to detour down our way. It takes very skillful drivers to drive those rigs.
