Got a 99 cobra. New alternator and good battery. The reference wire (green with red stripe) in the voltage regulator pigtail has around 10 volts when unplugged. as soon as it is plugged in it drops to less than 1 volt which isnt enough to turn on the regulator. just wondering if anybody could help me with this. i allready went through 3 alternators before i found this. and i only have a few days to get it fixed.
