Well, this was a big undertaking - because the engine was in the car. No one could give me any solid answers as to if this is posible or how easy etc. etc. etc .....

So ..... I just did it.

But I took tons of pics along the way and I have prepared a full tech article for those other 4V owners that are wondering how to pull the covers on a cobra.

Here is a quik pic >>>>>

It will most likely hold in heat more .... however, I don't exactly "drive the car" much .....

8000 miles in 3 full seasons.

I certainly would not work in a road racing car!

Normally I don't "dance with myself" unless I am watching a porn, I couldn't resist after seeing that engine bay.
I'm going to take a nap now.

I like the KB strut tower brace too. Think I might have to order one.

The only problem with the brace is that to pull the inlet tube you have to remove the brace - and to get the brace out you need to remove the pressure - which means jacking up the car - which means you lose your alignment. The holes utilize the strut tower holes.

The older design made you drill new holes which may be a PITA but removal is easier - I really don't know why KB changed it!

All you other guys are a HÒÓT :)

are the coil covers made of metal or plastic. Personally I dont like chrome but I do like polished aluminum I think I may do my upper intake and my TB my head covers too if they arent that hard to remove. How long did it take you to remove them and put it all back together. My car is a daily driver so I need to know how much time I will need to polish these babys.
