My GTI is the first black car I owned, keep going back and forth on tinting/fish bowl look. Maybe 30% is a good compromise.

Does look really good. Dark tint with black paint go together like peanut butter and jelly. LOL. Awesome updated appearance!

Must be nice to live in a state where you put whatever tint you want on your car. We had 28% put on the S4 at the time of purchase, and it was the bee's knees. A year later at inspection time, johnny law said it was too dark (we didn't know it was at 28% because we specifically asked for 32% when we bought it) and we had to have it removed and a lighter level installed.

Thanks for the kind words, but as far as legality, West Virginia tint laws are 35%, they just aren't enforced really. Also when it comes time to get inspected i have friends at a couple different locations that will over look it. It also helps that I'm a 911 supervisor so i park in the sheriffs dept parking lot everyday, so they just ignore it.

haha i agree they are terrible, but no need to worry about it till the season changes
