Will it affect a dyno tune?

I have a small leak at the collector on my passenger side long tube header I'm going to be installing a Paxton and looking to get dyno tuned soon will this affect the tuning?

A leak will affect your numbers on a dyno for certain. The amount is usually minimal but there have been proven losses with exhaust leaks.

This will not affect tuning. Consult with your tuner and point out the leak to be safe

i think it would have more of an effect if it was a turbo car, not so much with a paxton. But as Grabber said there will probably be a little something something getting lost

Yes, an exhaust leak that is picked up by the O2 sensors WILL affect the tuning. The O2 will read LEAN so the car will run rich. This can lead to idle surging and stalling.

It is vital all exhaust leaks near the O2 sensors are fixed before tuning.
