Widening my 2011 SVTPP rear rims

If I do the math, with a 5/16" spacer, the 2.5" studs will work. Stock studs are just around 2-1/4". The spacer will be make up for the difference so it should be almost the same length as stock once it's all said and done. The ONLY question I have now is that the ARP studs from steeda are .625" and fit 87-04 cars...no mention of the 05-14. The 3" ARP studs from AM are .614" diam and are for 05-14's. Can I use the slightly larger diam .625" studs because I want the 2.5" studs so I don't have to use open ended lug nuts.

I put them in two sets of axles without issue. The OEM and a set of Moser street axles. Check the Mustang fitment tab. It shows applications all the way to 2014.
