Wicked GT40 Replica followed at VIR

Just ran across this as I was studying some video from VIR for an upcoming race there. 2010 Grassroots Motorsports' Ultimate Track Car Challenge attracts some of the fastest track cars in the country.


My favorite part is just after the 3:15 mark where he downshifts. This thing is LOUD. And then watch how it disappears on the straightaway. I mean you're riding in a 500hp track prepped STi and the GT40 is GONE. Awesome!

Thats called a tightly wound engine. High compression. Can't get that sound any other way. Wicked though, I'd just love to be behind that thing listening to it.
