Why the pro's service gas equipment

A word of caution to all, please let the professionals work on your gas supplied appliances. I had the pleasure of being the first one to arrive today to this mess today. I was driving the fire engine as we were dispatched to a "house fire with an explosion". 3 people were flown to a burn center outside of philadelphia.

That had to be a tremendious amount of gas. To think all of that could've been averted if they had shut the valve.

WHOA!! :eek: that is amazing, surprised it did not flatten the place, sometimes a gas leak will just flatten a house like that. LUCKY!

Yeah I take 5-10 gas leak calls a day, the customers calling them in don't realize how serious they really are, I advise them to not hang up the phone to wait outside, to not air out the house just leave, its amazing how many dont listen :bash:
