Here's my 2003 Seadoo Speedster, it has the 240 hp Mercury V6 M2. I sold my 75 mph '04 RXP for this so I could take more people/beer out on the lake, miss the speed though. I'm probably going to sell it here soon and just save for an MB F21 Tomcat.

How much you want for the boat? Looks nice.

I was looking to get another Seadoo XP, but would like a boat too.

junk.. buy a honda aquatraxx or kawi.

Haha, the Aquatrax is the Civic of the pwc performance world. Slow, great on gas, can't handle rough water, and is known to rust like crazy inside when exposed to salt water. Ultras are powerful and great in rough chop, but also extremely heavy and horrible on gas (GC SRT-8 of the water). RXPs are like an '03/'04 Cobra: moderately sized robust engine, easy to make power/boost, decent in rough water, won't kill you in gas, and FAST! Low to mid 70's are a breeze with a few mods, also not hard to get to upper 70's and low 80's. Toss the 4TEC in a GPR hull and go 90!

Couldn't have said it better. I have heard that the FZRs are where it's at now for an off the showroom floor ski .

Right on, my rxp stage 1 does around 70-71 with ease and not much money put in and reliable

different stroke for different folks. rxps are nice and fast but ive seen to many blow up. the aquatraxx have been great skis to us. I have had several and no issues or rust anywhere. a simple tune and its a 70mph ski, a R12X is def not great on rough water, but a F12X is much better. does great with the girlfriend on the ski at low speeds, it doesnt tend to tip at all. great on fuel. my gp1300r was def faster but sucked on gas, two stroke smoked like crazy. was a huge pita to fire up after sitting for a while. I dont take the skis out in the ocean or see much salt water so no need to worry. its like anything, if you take care of it, it will take care of you. Dont need to have the fastest ski on the water, someone will always be faster.. this winter I am planning on picking up a F12X and a Ultra 260/300.

I know what you mean by smoking 2-stroke, my boat has a Mercury M240 efi that will make your eyes burn if there is no wind or you're just idling still.

Here's our old girl, a 1977 Correct Craft Ski Nautique. 351W 225hp and a ton of torque. Pulled up four people just fine on boards.

here's a vid in the original 454- will definitely be faster next year! Ran 70@6500 with 23.5 pitch spinelli Four blade. Had good trim. Then lost oil pressure and found all mains showing brass. In the middle of the rebuild now. Looking for 76 in new setup! Whoop whoop!!!http://youtu.be/ZiDKY6s807g
Halfway through the vid it started to chine as you can see the spray. Dad was driving. Compared his driving to mine I was 1.2 mph faster on GPS! And 1.2 in a 6k bucket of resin is damn good! Few years I'll get my 32 Active thunder! I want 95mph on twins!
