why is my car swaying?

I would check your wheel bearing. My buddies was worn/****ed up, and wit ha combo of that and a loose control arm, his rear end was swaying around..

He would accelerate, then on non-decel, the ass-end would sway around. aw well as around corners.(more of a control arm problem)


As someone said earlier, wheel bearing's are giving some people problems. Your ass end shoudl nto be swayign aroudn at all, DR's or not. Get it checked out.

The sway in the ass end is one of your rear wheel bearings. I know cause I just found out today I have a bad one. You can tell which one by jacking the car up and lifting/pushing the wheel up and down. If its bad it will move, good ones will feel solid. Also when the car is on the ground if you push the tire it will squeek.

My question is, is it bad to daily drive around on it, what bad could happen, etc. Also will I need to get a four wheel alignment?
