By the way, don't buy the Live Wire for the 2011 mustang GT. Was not setup to work with our cars. Just learned that the hard way.

Do most mustang tuners use handhelds such as the sct or do they work straight through the ecu?

I can only speak for Amazon.. we work mainly with SCT,DS for the Mustangs..the use of a hand held through the OBD11 is part of the process..

most of the other tuners I know do also ..

I'd call Livernois and Amazon. Both have done good things with their autos.

Nothing bad to say about Livernois!

When people cant tune something the call jon jund. We are lucky to have him tune for evolution performance.

Damn Skippy, the tune Jon laid on my car this week is sick!

My tach is seeing 78/7900 probably 7400/7500 actual friggin nasty, just nasty!

If I had a new auto I would be sticking with my tuner. He has never done me wrong in 12 years and is a big fan of the automatic.

I have a VMP tune for my auto. The thing is a beast now. Justin did a great job. This thing really moves now. Throttle response is great, shift points are great also nice and firm. Everything seems perfect without being to harsh like some of the tunes people have reported. Car is a blast to drive.
