I get great sunsets outside my window at work overlooking the Potomac River. This is back in the winter when the river was partially frozen. (through a window and taken with my phone, so not perfectly clear)

You are crazy lol
I would be flying out if I heard hurricane was on the way. But I wouldn't wanna see either or! I never sleep through storms, I sit and watch tv in case tornado is on the way so I can hide haha.

After living through it in Puerto Rico and here, I would take a hurricane over a tornado.

We have some nice ones in the winter time here in Raleigh, these are all sunrises. They always seem alot better and come alot more often in the winter for some reason

Ok, I guess it's not right outside my house but it is a very short drive away.

To the North

To the East. Notice the Bambi, who didn't like the Mustang's exhaust nor me taking pictures, towards the left.

To the West.

If the pictures show up humongous, give it a little time before complaining. Photobucket takes some time to resize it seems.

Looks like the pics we took last night out at Sarasota. That big ass bridge was in the back ground, my little one was the "Captain"!

What are you doing in Sarasota? How long will you be there?

That big ass bridge is the Sunshine Skyway. It is a freaky bridge. High winds cause it to sway from side to side.

I hated driving across that bridge when I was driving trucks for a print shop.

Yeah it is. As a little kid, I was scared to drive over it, LOL.

Unfortunately that bridge has been used for other purposes, had a close friend jump off of it :nonono:

Very pretty!

We get some gorgeous ones over the mountains that I can see from my back door but my camera is terrible so I can never capture them very well.

I took that with the camera on my EVO 4G

+1

I would be afraid to live in FL because of hurricanes :D

That is why I love this area, it is naturally protected from Hurricanes by the peninsula known as Pinellas County.

That's beautiful Adam. I have some nice sunsets, but I guess I'm too lazy to capture them. I just admire them from my backyard.

I just saw this and could help but take a pic. I really enjoy the normal red sunsets with the glow off the water.

My mom lives in Bradenton so we get down there to visit, and we usually stay in the Sarasota area. The sunsets there (ie. Siesta Key) are awesome. Just like the one Adam posted.

I am only 20 miles from Bradenton. I get out to Anna Maria Island a lot. Love Holmes beach.

funny, i got an infraction for the very same thing :rollseyes

Funny, you didnt. You received a warning, not infraction, from another mod for posting a series of pictures, not a single picture. Exaggerating and lying to make your inane point is not helpful. But thanks so much for your valuable input.

I love taking pictures of sunsets and sunrises everywhere I go. Not too many good ones where I live now due to the tall trees, easily the best ones I've ever seen were when I was TDY to Tucson, AZ. Here are a few examples:
