I picked this 1989 LX up right after the holidays. Car is a true 5.0 coupe, and has its share of dings and blemishes after 20+ years. Just replaced a couple things and got it running properly, but it is definitely a work in progress. Hopefully, I will have it painted next winter, along with all new weatherstripping, 1/4 windows, 6pt cage, and some dark tint.
As it sits right now, the car has a 306, aluminum GT40 heads, Cobra intake, E-cam, full exhaust, 373s, built 8.8, Tremec trans, some spray, and all the other bolt-ons. Not to mention the coveted porno red interior, lol :coolman:Future plans for the motor include AFR heads, on3 turbo kit, fuel system upgrades, and a custom cam.
Will be down in OC this May for the car cruise with some other Mustangs and a few LS1tech peeps....should be a good time :rockon:
