Oh I know what album it's on, I'm saying I want a full album of deftones+Maynard

Throw in some Danny too and I won't ever listen to another album but that one

I'd be in for that 100%.
MJK gives me goosebumps on several songs. No one else does that for me.

My gf hates metal or anything that resembles it but I've got her to admit she enjoys the Deftones when it comes to their mellow songs like "Entombed" and "What Happened to You". She just doesn't understand how screaming in a song represents anything good and so it must be bad so I have been working on her with that. Music like this is energy and it doesn't always equate to being bad music. I've been listening to the new Norma Jean album and the energy on it is off the charts. Not my favorite at first listen, but after a few times it has some amazing songs! I'll convert her over time but I don't think she will ever truly love metal the way I do; she'll just endure it.

I actually saw a SBC logo bumper sticker the other day on the back of someone's minivan. Haven't seen one in years.
NICE!!!
Gotta represent the Boston music scene, I mean, what was the Boston music scene. lol
I've seen them live so many times. The best shows were with SBC opening up for bigger bands. Seen them with ONLY LIVING WITNESS as well so many times.
Me, my brother and our buddy. We always had a "crew" at the shows. The best times!

****ing LOVE this stuff!!!

Hell yeah, a big memory for me is seeing SBC and Tree at a Hempfest in Boston back on the 90s. The singer from Tree was climbing and hanging off the staging while singing.

Junior Walker, of Junior Walker & The All-Stars...

played the solo on the recorded version of this '80's Foreigner hit, "Urgent".
(Sax player in video isn't Junior, he's just lip syncing.)
Junior performed 12 takes of the solo during the recording session, but the record producers decided his first take was best.

Junior's "All Heart and Soul" solo starts about 2:38:

Sadly, Junior died in '95 at the age of 64 after battling cancer.

This release doesn't appear to be on this week's release list. It's pretty damn good. Ex Bad Wolves singer started his own one man band.
