    Your old TVS is a bad unit!!! I love mine. You have also raised some questions about my FRPP 80 lb injectors. I have thought that they may be a contributor to some of my minor issues with my tune, surging after the car runs for a minute or two and the car not starting as easy as I would like it to. It's just me being picky.

    You make great products... The GT500 throttle body is a monster too. I'm glad I bought mine before you all raised the prices on them by a crap ton.

    Same here. This place is more than enough for me.

    +1

    There isn’t a whole lot of 2.65 results out there. I’m currently in the middle of putting an engine together and I am thinking about upgrading blowers. The gen 4 2.9 seems like its leading the pack in the “small blower” market.

    Well two factors: elevation and blower setup.

    I’m on a Gen2 2.9 standard inlet.

    @4k’.

    Car was on 91oct 3.75 pulley at sea level for 15

    Needs 3.5 for 15psi up here.

    2.9 upper nets 20/21.

    If I were at sea level the 2.9 upper would put me at mid twenties.

    Here is a old video of my car. This combo is 2.3 tvs blower gen 1, 19lbs, headers, and e85.

    I'm now running 21lbs of boost.

    That's more than enough for the street, no use swapping blowers any time soon...if at all.

    I agree, and it has a little more at 21lbs! Cooler temps I've seen 22!

    What’s the max amount of boost that can be run with the 2.65. Or better yet the smallest upper pulley with a 4 pound lower. My question is relative to blower speed and efficiency. Not what a motor can take. I run a 3 inch upper with 4 pound lower and feel like there more juice left in it. Combined with the gt500 inlet. Currently see 24-25 pounds.

    I run a 2.3 tvs on both 93 and e70. Great street blower with great power. I dont have dyno numbers but I assume I'm on par with everyone else running 22lbs and corn, low to mid 700s. Lights up from a 40mph roll and pulls like a train.
    The right blower depends on fuel and goals of the car.
