On my 13gt I have a VMP gen II 2.3 on a built bottom end. Street car only, what would be the better head swap the Whipple gen 5 3.0 or the VMP gen III 2.65. I'll mainly run 93 octane but planning to do a fuel system to run E85 also.
Honestly, it's because there are less of us 03/04 owners than there are of the newer cars. Still dumb, since our kit has less to it.Questions...
Why is the 03/04 Whipple 3.0.
$6,100 one day then $6,300 the next but a
2007 to 2014. 3.0 whipple is...$5,600 ?
And most of the larger ones are the same price?
Someone please make sense of this?

The Whipple head unit should be a direct replacement to the VMP head correct?I don’t think anybody can touch the performance of the 3.0.
VMP has the removable inlet, if that’s a deal breaker.

I think you'll have to look at the base plates and lower intake designs. The Whipple head unit should be a direct replacement to the VMP head correct?

I am waiting for the sales. If they do 25% off for whipple, I am getting the gen 5. But, I have to agree with the pricing. I can't believe how expensive the whipple is for the 03 cobra. Just the unit itself. Its ridiculous.
