I have a 98 cobra with mod on the sig. I don't know whick spark plugs to get... I currently have ngk iridium(not gapped). Its now time to change again. Does it matter which one I get? Ngk, autolite, motorcraft? How about the gapping? I have a friend that gapped his ngk's for his mach 1 with similar mods, he said he felt a difference. Help, I'm changing spark plugs Friday afternoon. HELP

He doesn't need TR6's he's not boosted.. That is one stage cooler.. Run the stock recommened heat range plug which would be a "5" series. So TR5 plug from NGK or equivelent.

The cars doing fine...need to do clutch job soon because of the throw out bearing, but the FR500 heads are a slow process.

So Autolites, what should I gap them too?

Autolite 764 gapped to 54/1000ths, with a dab of anti-seize on the threads. 13 ft lbs on the torque wrench. I believe that is what is recommended, but others may know different.
