I won't deny that I did kill a bunch using fire though.

Only time I enjoy using fire to kill...lol....is outdoors when it comes to hornet, wasps or yellow jacket nests. I get these nests in ground holes mostly yellow jackets. Fire in the hole takes care of that. Been stung a few times by these little bastards while mowing the lawn. Its painful.

Open flame or fire in the house....never. I get very few spiders in my home anyway. Use self defense every year.

I ran over a nest of those ground dwellers with an 8' brush hog mower behind my tractor.
Yeah that turned into a rodeo. Had to wait until night time to go back after the tractor.
They are not friendly. And they aren't shy about lighting a guy up!

Nope I use Pepsis and Mud Dauber wasp to get rid of all my Tarantula, and spider problems.
